The YouControl team has joined CEDAR, a common European data space and reliable AI for transparent public administration. As part of this project, YouControl presented a pilot version of its own development, Transparent Management of Foreign Aid for Rebuilding Ukraine. This technical solution collects, models, and uses complex data sources. It is also a solution for multi-factor risk analysis of legal entities and associated key individuals.
The goal of the YouControl project is to help the Ukrainian and foreign public, government, and donors (including the EU) use their information, open data, modern technologies, and safe practices to manage public funds and foreign aid as efficiently as possible.
This goal aligns perfectly with the objectives of CEDS (Common European Data Spaces), which promote data-driven innovation and enhance cross-border and cross-sectoral information exchange. Therefore, we anticipate fruitful cooperation for economic growth and improved evidence-based decision-making.
We also strive to find a balance between access to information and its protection, developing ways to make confidential data available for use in a secure and controlled manner.
Nataliia Chornohub presented YouControl's Transparent Management of Foreign Aid for Rebuilding Ukraine at the 2nd CEDAR EU General Assembly in Athens.
In the future, CEDAR and YouControl will collaborate on developing technologies for leveraging multiple open data sources, analysing risks associated with legal entities, identifying potential connections with Russia, and identifying tender offers with a high risk of corruption.
